As I embark on the start-up of my business, I’ve done a lot of reflecting about my mission statement; and I think I’ve finally got it. I recently read a quote that really engaged my spirit. While working the past 25 years in the hospitality industry, I loved when I came across a great quote that inspired me to become a better leader. Along that journey, I became a huge John Maxwell fan, and have enjoyed reading his “laws of leadership”. I continue to follow John on Facebook for a little daily inspiration, and below is one of his recent posts:

I want to be both the candle AND the mirror and spread LIGHT AND JOY to others through my photography. I hope you see this in my work displayed here, and that you will consider me for your upcoming portrait needs!
