Graduates – About Your Session:

I want to make you look your best! And it all starts with selecting a location, picking out some outfits and then getting ready for the big day! And….for the girls (or even guys!) – considering professionally done hair and makeup! I have a few contacts for both – but check salons near you for price on styling/blowouts and makeup. Most are priced at about $35 -$50 for a blowout, and $25 – $50 for makeup (girls a few extra lashes really make your portraits pop – and can be applied for as little as $15). This really helps you look your best for the camera.

When selecting your outfits – you can keep it simple with neutral colors – greys, browns, blues, greens – which are all great; or you can add some color pop with bright colors- like hot pink or electric blue!  Solid colors seem to photograph best, so avoid large bold prints that take the eye away from the subject. Also no t-shirt logos – unless you want them in the portraits. (like sports jerseys, jackets, uniforms or other sports apparel) Keep your jewelry in top form – bringing a few pieces can be good to allow yourself more than one look with the same outfit. Accessories like hats, sunglasses and even a framed baby picture is fun!

We’ll have a pre-consult to run through the shoot and what to expect. $150 session fee is due on the day of the shoot. It will be applied to the total cost of your package, with the remaining amount due upon delivery of your prints and images via USB.

As far as selecting a location – think about all your happy places – where do you want to be to “tell your story”? Parks, scenic overlooks, waterfalls – take your pick! Then let’s get there!
